Blue Sky Festivals Tourism Study

A study commissioned to evaluate the tourism potential and marketing opportunities of existing Blue Sky Festivals and events. The Study examined the two major area festivals individually  (Voyageur Days and Heritage) as well as the other "vertical" events that take place in the region. Full version here  (7.61 MB) 

Human Resources Gap Analysis

A snapshot of the local labour force. The study examines trends in the local economy including education levels, average incomes,  age, gender and ethnicity of employed people in the region. The study also examines the demand for labour in several key sectors. Read it here.  

Project Skywire Update


Significant activity representing a major step forward towards bringing a much-needed service to the area has taken place. Most recently an agreement has been signed with a Northern Ontario Based company to continue with network expansion plans. Find out more here.
